Hi, I’m Maikel Aren, a professional tattoo artist since 2010 and I’m here to talk to you about Poetic Skin.
The Piel Poética studio is much more than a simple tattoo studio, and yes, I know that this is what everyone says when they try to convince you to visit their studio, but this time I say it with conviction. Our tattoo studio is located in Torrevieja, but we did not want to locate ourselves in the center of the city since for what we had in mind we needed a place that was accessible, with parking and that allows our artists to work in complete tranquility.
And it is that, if you are going to get a tattoo, the place, the tranquility and the comfort must be ideal. That is what you will find in Poetic Skin.

Sometimes we stop feeling comfortable with our tattoo, and we want to remove it. Here at Poetic Skin, we have a state-of-the-art tattoo removal service. Do you want to know about the process?
The number of sessions depends on several factors such as depth, age, type of ink, and even your own body.
For you to get an idea, on average it usually takes between 7 and 9 sessions.
ONLINE TATTOO INITIATION COURSE
This course is designed for people who want to start their career in the world of tattooing or for tattooists who already practice but for some reason want to improve their technique.
The content that we offer in this introductory tattoo course consists of a total of 10 video tutorials with a total duration of 13.5 hours.

ADVANCED PRESENTIAL TATTOO COURSE
Are you already a tattoo artist but want to learn new concepts and achieve better results? Or have you just started in the world of tattooing and feel that you need to advance?
On this occasion we offer you an intensive course that is 100% face-to-face and practical. It is an individualized training, since you will be the only student present with the tattoo artist.
This course will be taught by Maikel Aren, with whom you will spend a total of 7 hours a day for 5 days, from Monday to Friday. Including practice with a final model, with which you will obtain your final certificate of improvement.
COURSE CONTENT
The content of the course will be focused from a general level in terms of tattoo techniques but will always be adapted to the particular needs of each student, which is why it is individual and unique.
Day 1 and day 2
– Knowledge of machines, power supplies and their components.
– Knowledge of needles and their classification.
– Basic drawing: lines, shadows/lights and color.
– Techniques for the design and lace of the tattoo.
– Making designs with the Procreate application (Ipad).
Day 3 and 4
– Preparation of the table and work area.
– Attend practical cases with Maikel Aren tattooing
day 5
– Final practice and obtaining a passing certificate
Includes follow-up and queries and resolution of doubts after the course (3 months).
Places are very limited, there is only 1 course per month, so don’t miss the opportunity if you are really interested in taking a further leap and differentiating yourself from the rest.
